Using eye bolts safely
- Screw the eye bolt in fully so the collar sits flat on the load surface.
- Lift in line with the bolt axis. Angles between sling legs above 90° are not permitted, and side pull must not be applied.
- Check thread engagement in the load: a soft or thin base needs deeper engagement or a through-bolt with a DIN 582 nut.
- Inspect before each use for corrosion, deformation and thread damage. Do not straighten or re-use bent eye bolts.
- For angled or rotating lifts, use swivel lifting points rated for that duty instead of DIN 580 eye bolts.
Documents for lifting products
Lifting accessories are regulated in many markets. State the documents your market requires, for example a declaration of conformity, test certificate or proof-load record, so they are confirmed with the producing factory before quotation.

Frequently asked questions
What is the working load of an M12 DIN 580 eye bolt?
340 kg for a single axial lift in the published range shown, and 240 kg for a pair at 45°. Always use the WLL marked on the eye bolt supplied.
Can DIN 580 eye bolts be used for angled lifts?
Only with the reduced WLL for that angle, and never with side pull or sling angles above 90°. For angled lifting, use rated swivel lifting points.
What is the difference between DIN 580 and DIN 582?
DIN 580 is the eye bolt (male thread); DIN 582 is the eye nut (female thread) used on studs or through-bolts.
What is the MOQ for eye bolts?
Reference MOQ is 500 pcs per specification. This product is made to order, so lead time and price are confirmed with each quotation. We reply to every RFQ within 2 working hours.
