Questions before ordering self-drilling & roofing screws

Which drill point do I need?

As a guide, points No. 2–3 suit thin sheet up to about 3.5 mm, No. 4 suits medium sections up to about 6 mm and No. 5 suits heavy steel up to about 12.5 mm. Capacity varies with screw diameter, so give the total steel thickness and we confirm the point.

Can you paint roofing screw heads to match my panels?

Yes. Heads can be painted to RAL or sample colors; state colors and quantity per color in the RFQ.

How are self-drilling screws packed?

Usually in inner boxes of 100–1,000 pcs inside export cartons on pallets; private-label packing is available.
