RFQs and purchase orders

An RFQ or sample request is an invitation to discuss requirements and is not a purchase order or acceptance. A transaction begins only under written documents accepted by authorized parties. The RFQ form must not be used for export-controlled or highly confidential files.

Order-specific confirmation

Product standards, revisions, materials, grades, dimensions, finishes, certifications, inspection scope and documentation must be confirmed for the specific order. Buyer engineering approval remains required for application suitability and proposed alternatives.

Commercial terms

Prices, quantities, validity periods, tooling or sample costs, payment terms, Incoterms, lead times, packaging, delivery and quality responsibilities apply only as stated in the relevant written quotation, order confirmation or sales contract.

Intellectual property and authorized submissions

Submit only files and information you are authorized to share. Ownership, confidentiality and permitted use of drawings or other technical material may be governed by a separate agreement or sales contract.

Separate sales contracts

A quotation, purchase order acceptance or sales contract may contain additional or different terms, including governing law and dispute-resolution provisions. Those transaction documents control to the extent of a conflict. This website does not designate an exclusive court or jurisdiction.
